Celebrating 30 years of the Axis, this limited edition collection revisits the iconic translucent finishes of its 1996 debut. Each hand stained quilt maple top, available in Gold, Black, Pink, Red, Blue, and Purple, is paired with a black, lightly sparkled back that subtly echoes the top’s hue. Built to the original specs, these guitars feature the classic asymmetrical neck carve, 22 stainless steel frets, and glow in the dark side dots on a figured maple neck. Equipped with the legendary custom wound DiMarzio® pickups and finished with a color matched headstock and a commemorative 30th Anniversary logo, each instrument includes a certificate of authenticity and a deluxe hardshell case.

The Axis 30th Anniversary guitar features a perfectly balanced, single cutaway body design that allows unparalleled access to all 22 stainless steel frets. The figured maple neck with an asymmetric custom neck carve provides an ultra comfortable playing experience.
The back profile thickness is off center toward the bass side of the neck and thins out toward the treble side, allowing for a more comfortable playing experience under the fingertips.
Proprietary humbucking pickups are custom designed for the Axis guitar.

Limited worldwide production: 120 Gold; 100 each Black, Pink, Purple, Blue and Red.
Hand selected body and neck woods are sustainably sourced from our network of hardwood suppliers worldwide. Basswood and maple tonewoods are individually chosen and matched for their beautiful appearance and rich tonal qualities.
